Valentine's Day Swap 2010

Dust off your glue guns and bust out some glitter, because love is in the air (more so than usual, around here) and it's time for the 3rd Annual Weddingbee Valentine's Day Swap!

Like last years Swap, we'll be using Swap-bot to help with the coordination...

Here's how it works:
1 - Start by creating an account at Swap-Bot. (If you participated last year, you're already set-up, just take a moment to make sure all your info is current). Please note that your address will only be shared by your swap partners (otherwise, where will they mail your valentine?!). Once you’ve signed up, request to join the Weddingbee group. Once you receive a group acceptance, you can sign up for the Weddingbee Valentine Swap! The swap is a private one and not open to the Swap-Bot public. Only those in the Weddingbee group can participate in the swap.
2 - On January 30, you will receive an email containing the addresses of the 3 other swap participants you’ll be sending your valentines to. Once you are signed up and the sign-up date has passed, you will not be able to drop out, so please sign up only if you are sure you can participate. We want everyone to receive a Valentine!
3 - Create handmade valentines (or if you’re not so crafty, it's a proven fact that adding loads of candy to pseudo handmade valentines always sweetens the deal!).
4 - Take photos of your fabulous handmade valentines and email them to WBValentine2010 (at) yahoo.com. They will be included in a post on Weddingbee about the swap in February.
5 - Package your valentines and send one to each person on your participant list by February 9 (that's a Tuesday). If you are going to be late, please contact your swap participants. We want to make sure everyone who signed up to participate gets their valentines.
6 - Check the mailbox like a crazy bride waiting for her RSVPs because you've got sweet handmade Valentine’s Day cards coming from your Weddingbee pals!

*A note on international shipping: We do not have the ability to specify how many international addresses you will get so please plan for that. We also do not have the ability to create U.S. domestic-only swap groups.

Not quite sure what to make? What, you having been planning this for the past year? Check out the previous swaps here, here, & here for inspiration.
